When I started this, I honestly wanted to post something every single day.
Although I knew in the back of my mind that it would probably not work that way, I still was able to ignore that little voice. And maybe I shouldn’t have.
Told you before I’d inform you of things about me… this is one of those things. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis six or seven years ago… My worst symptoms are fatigue, and memory, and *takes a pause to remember*… … … … … … … … … … numerous cognitive issues.
When that happens, sitting at a computer and staring at a screen is highly difficult. I couldn’t keep working anymore. And although I wanna write real bad, sometimes it just doesn’t work. Whatever I think of writing doesn’t make its way through the keyboard… and when it does, it’s nothing like it should have been, and it’s usually real bad. (A lot like whatever I’m writing right now).
I had thought at first that I could explain to you exactly what goes on when I start feeling this way but I honestly just wanna lie down right now. But I thought that two days without a blog post had been enough and I didn’t want to abandon you for a third one.
So, this might happen once in a while, I’ll just miss several days because of that stupid MS thing. The stress of last weekend – my mom “breaking” an arm and how we didn’t know where she was for about 12 hours – is only one of the things that are making the last week real tiring… cause and effect!
Someone from the Million Mile Secrets website reached out to me not too long ago, asking if I’d be willing to share their article on how to make traveling with disabilities less stressful. Found it really informative, so I hope that you will too. So a big thank you to them for asking me to share. Safe travels, everyone!
So, I’ll stop here. I’m trying to find something fun to end this post with and all I can think of is how I found, totally by accident, a movie that was made a couple of years ago. Found it on Youtube, of all things, and it’s about that one show I used to love as a kid. And, yeah… its title character was my first real crush. (A cartoon, I know… I might have been 6 or 7, give me a break! lol)
I knew him as Albator (in French), but you may know him as Captain Harlock.
Albator (Captain Harlock) Source
In case you’re ever interested, here’s the link I found, but beware… it’s in French! Which I really didn’t mind because it’s animated and that’s how I would listen to it as a kid. I won’t lie, there were things that I didn’t agree with but… meh… still too tired to really care about it all. lol
So that’s it for now. I’m hoping I’ll be in a better shape tomorrow and gift you with a proper blog post. And if not, then… Monday, maybe?
In the meantime, I’ll be soon (yeah yeah, soon today) be posting the next chapter of my novel, The Salvation of Judas, if you’re interested at all.
In any case, I wish you the bestest of Saturdays and I hope to see you again tomorrow!
NOTE (07-25-2018): I have decided to pull my writings from the Inkitt website, mostly because I want everything in one place. And because I intend on rewriting this story better and will attempt to have it edited. Wish me luck! As for the short stories I had on Inkitt, they are now available here to read, under the Short Stories category.
